Colour_Collective #GOLD

Colour_Collective is on Twitter and provides a colour for every week. The challenge is to create an illustration/image with that colour. Medium and subject is up to the maker. At the beginning of the week a colour is given, seven days later all the participants will share their work on twitter and other social media with the same hashtag.

This is my first “Colour_Collective” illustration  #gold.

Inktober 2016 sketches

This year I joined “Inktober” for the first time.
Daily illustrations, created with ink, during the whole month of October. There’s an official list of topics per day you can follow, but instead I just drew something else, whenever I wanted. I didn’t manage to draw 31 things either. (what a rebel….).
So sorry, maybe next year.
I did, however, enjoyed the facts I could/’had’ to use other materials than I normally work with and ‘had’ to make a drawing everyday. It gave me a lot of energy just to make things, starting without a plan, etc, etc..

So here are my Inktober sketches. (the first one is from September on the beach)

Intergalantic Worms – the series

Back from holiday! And time to share my last project with you:
Right before my holiday Uppercase Magazine called for submissions for it’s new Surface Pattern Design Guide Vol. 2 book! During the online course, by Lilla Rogers, I already created a pattern design for the cover of this book, as an assignment and contest in cooperation with Uppercase Magazine.

This design I used as my first in a series of repeat patterns to submit. The next five images I created in a very simplistic and analog way, as seen in Julia Rothmans Skillshare class. (Draw on a square paper in the middle to the edges, cut the paper in four, tape them together again in some kind of cross-way, so that the undrawn edges become the middle, and finish/fill up the rest of the paper and colour.)
