Jan and Ria – 40 years together

Jan and Ria will be married for 40 years this December. I made them an invitation.
A little ‘comicy’, a little bit playful, but not too much, a touch of memory and some of their favorite colours.

I made this card with acrylics and gouache, and mixed up stamp technique and painting.
For the back I used my own handwriting as a font.

With some old school carbon paper I transferred the drawings on rubber, to cut out and use as stamps.
